Interview with HH the Dalai Lama
Filmed on location in Morocco and India, this feature-length film documents the emotion-filled encounter of Martin Scorsese with his cast of Tibetan monks and advisers, who helped him recreate their lost culture in Kundun. His Holiness the Dalai Lama provides an illuminating counterpoint by sharing his memories of the tragic years that preceded his exile. The documentary won Best Film at The United Nations Humanitarian Film Festival, among many other awards on the festival circuit.
